Herbatint Haircolor Gel 5d Light Golden Chestnut
To achieve the best results of a 5D color on uncolored hair, it is recommended to apply 5D on 5N (Light Chestnut) hair. If 5D is applied to 1N, 2N, 3N, or 4N hair, the resulting color will be very dark golden chestnut to dark chestnut. On 6N, 7N, or 8N hair, the color will be light golden chestnut to light chestnut. The same rules apply for 5R and 5M shades.
When using 5C (Ash color), the resulting color will be very cold and flat. The Ash color is used to neutralize unwanted gold or red tones.
To cover gray hair with 5D, it is essential to mix an appropriate quantity of 5N as indicated in the instructions provided in the color box or refer to the 5N shade.
Herbatint is the first organically based permanent hair color gel that covers gray or white hair without using ammonia. It contains Aloe Vera and Limnanthes Alba and is free from ammonia, parabens, and resorcinol. It provides 100% gray hair coverage.
Herbatint’s natural herbal base, combined with beneficial properties from herbal extracts and proteins, gently colors and protects the hair, giving it a deep natural gloss and brilliance. It can also lighten hair color by approximately one shade.
Herbatint can be used even if you have previously used a chemical dye on your hair. If your hair has been permed, it is recommended to select a shade lighter than usual and wait two weeks after the perm before coloring your hair. Herbatint cannot provide 100% color coverage on hair that still has henna present, as henna creates a coating around the hair.
Each Herbatint pack contains enough product for up to two applications, depending on the length of your hair.
Herbatint is the preferred choice because it is the most natural hair coloring gel, free of harsh chemicals and ammonia. It contains proteins, botanicals, and natural vegetal extracts such as Cinchona, Rhubarb, and Walnut, which nourish the hair and scalp, giving it a deep, natural shine and vibrant, healthy color.
It offers nourishment, protection, and conditioning to the hair and scalp, providing a safe, gentle, and effective way to cover gray hair with just one application. It can lighten hair by one or two tones without damaging the hair structure.
With 30 rich shades available, Herbatint allows you to change the tone of your hair, lighten it by up to 3 shades, and cover gray hair from the first application.
When lightening hair, Herbatint can lighten natural brown or chestnut hair by one or two shades and light chestnut or blonde hair by two to three shades. It can also lighten previously tinted hair by two tones.
For bleached hair, Herbatint can return it to its natural color. If the target shade is 6N or above, it is recommended to mix a gold shade with a natural shade. However, shades 5N and below can be used alone on bleached hair.
If your hair has been treated with henna, it may be more challenging for the tint to penetrate on the first application. Subsequent applications should be more successful.
When choosing Ash, Golden, Copper, or Mahogany series colors for gray hair, it is advised to mix them with an equal part of a natural (N) series color. Do not mix two shades from the golden range together.
It is important to carefully follow the instructions provided on the product packs, taking into account the condition of your hair and the chosen color.
What makes Herbatint special?
Herbatint stands out as the first and most natural hair coloring gel that is free of harsh chemicals and ammonia. It contains proteins, botanicals, and natural vegetal extracts like Cinchona, Rhubarb, and Walnut. These ingredients provide nourishment to the hair, enhance its natural shine, and deliver vibrant, healthy color.
Herbatint not only colors the hair but also offers nourishment, protection, and conditioning to both the hair and scalp. It provides a safe, gentle, and effective solution for covering normal grey hair with just one application. The contents of the package are designed for full application on long hair, while for medium to short hair, there is enough for two applications. Additionally, Herbatint can lighten the hair by one or two tones without causing harm to the hair structure.
With a range of 30 rich shades, Herbatint is easy to use and has been formulated by Herbavita, the leading European hair color specialists. Herbavita has over 30 years of experience in developing natural hair care products for beautiful hair. Herbatint is trusted and sold in 25 countries worldwide.
Herbatint allows you to change the tone of your hair, such as transitioning from a gold shade to an ash shade.
It can lighten the hair by up to three shades and provides full coverage of grey hair from the first application.
Lightening: Herbatint is capable of lightening natural hair by one or two shades for brown or chestnut hair and two to three shades for light chestnut or blonde hair. It can also lighten previously tinted hair by two tones.
Bleached Hair: If you have bleached hair and want to return to your natural color using Herbatint, it is recommended to mix a gold shade with a natural shade if your desired color is 6N or above. For shades 5N and below, they can be used on bleached hair without mixing.
Permed Hair: It is advisable not to color your hair immediately after getting a perm. Waiting for two weeks is recommended, and when using Herbatint, reduce the processing time by 10 minutes and choose a shade lighter than your target color.
Hair Treated with Henna: Hair that has been treated with henna poses a challenge for the tint to penetrate during the first application due to the henna sheath around the hair. Subsequent applications are likely to be more successful in achieving the desired color.
Grey Hair: If you select an Ash, Golden, Copper, or Mahogany color, it is advised to mix it with a color from the natural range in equal parts. Avoid mixing two shades from the golden range together.
To achieve the best results with these hair color products, it is important to follow the instructions provided on the product packaging, considering the condition of your hair and the chosen color. While Herbatint/Vegetal products are gentle, they can stain your fingernails, so it is recommended to wear gloves. Keep in mind that dry, permed, treated, and grey hair tends to be more porous than normal hair, making it more receptive to color. This means the color may appear more intense, so consider this when selecting your desired shade. Before applying the product to your entire head of hair, always perform a patch test on a small strand of your own hair. It is crucial to adhere to the specified processing times, as the colors may appear much stronger or even different during the processing period. The final result will only match the colors on the provided color chart once the full processing time has elapsed. For optimal color preservation and to maintain the hair’s condition, we strongly recommend using Herbavita Normalising Shampoo and Royal Cream after each coloring session, especially after using Herbatint.
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Mix equal amounts of color and glycol developer in a plastic or glass container, ensuring you have enough for the length and volume of your hair. Replace the caps on unused product bottles for future use.
Apply the mixture to dry and unwashed hair.
Previously Colored Hair:
Apply the mixture to the regrowth area and leave it on for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, apply the remaining mixture to the rest of the hair and wait an additional 10 minutes. The total processing time is 40 minutes.
Apply the mixture throughout the entire length of your hair, starting from the roots.
Leave the mixture on for 40 minutes.
During the coloring process, the actual color of the product may differ from the desired shade. This is normal and will not affect the final result.
Once the processing time is complete, rinse your hair thoroughly until the water runs clear.
Shampoo your hair using a shampoo from the Herbatint range for optimal results. Rinse and towel dry.
Apply the Royal Cream Conditioner, leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse again. Style your hair as usual.
