It produces a fruit which is modified for its lemony essential oil. The oil can also be extracted from the leaf, but this is thought to be minor in quality.
Rose geranium (23rd July 2022): Rose geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) is a Pelargonium species local to the Northern regions of Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Mozambique. Rose geranium is a steep, multi-branched shrub or bush plant that usually grows up to 1.5 m. and has a stretch of 1 m. The leaves are profoundly curved, velvety and soft to touch. The flowers vary from almost white to pale pink and the plant flowers from August to January.
